1. About the Program

Alea Protection Inc. (“Alea”, “we”, “us”, “our”) offers a Refer-a-Friend Program (“Program”) that rewards our community for introducing new customers to Alea. By joining or participating in the Program, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions (“Referral Terms”), along with our Privacy Policy and website Terms of Use. If anything here conflicts with our general Terms of Use, these Referral Terms will apply for referral-related matters.

2. Eligibility

The Program is open to Canadian residents. There is no minimum age to participate, but anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory should have a parent or guardian’s permission. Employees, partners, or contractors of Alea Protection and their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate. Referrals from the same household, IP address, or self-referrals are not eligible for rewards.

3. How It Works

3.1 Joining the Program

You can join through our official partner platform, Afflr, by creating an account and agreeing to these Referral Terms. You’ll receive your personal referral link (“Referral Link”), which you can share with your friends, family, or colleagues. There’s a limit of one Referral Link per person.

3.2 Sharing Your Link

You can share your Referral Link however you like — through email, text, or social media — as long as you do so respectfully and within the spirit of the program. Only share your link with people you know personally, and always be transparent that you’ll earn store credit if your friend makes a purchase.

3.3 Qualifying Purchase

A Qualifying Purchase occurs when:

• The referred friend is a new customer (has never purchased from Alea before);
• They visit our site via your Referral Link;
• They make a paid purchase (excluding subscriptions); and
• The payment has been successfully processed.
  

Once all these conditions are met, both you and your friend will receive your respective store credits.

4. Rewards

4.1 For Your Friend

Your referred friend receives $10 in store credit to use on their first purchase at aleaprotection.com.

4.2 For You (the Referrer)

After your friend completes their first purchase and payment, you’ll automatically receive $10 in store credit .

4.3 Terms of Use

• Store credits do not expire.
• Credits cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Credits cannot be used on subscription plans.
• Order value MUST be of 45$ or more.
• Credits are non-transferable and cannot be sold or traded.
• Alea may delay or cancel a reward if we detect fraud or misuse.
  

5. Respectful Participation

You agree to participate in good faith and in compliance with all applicable laws. Please do not:

• Create multiple or fake accounts;
• Refer yourself or anyone in your own household;
• Use bots, automated systems, or misleading tactics;

Alea reserves the right to disqualify any participant or revoke credits if we detect fraudulent or inappropriate activity.

6. Privacy

We value your privacy. Your participation and any personal information collected through Afflr or our website are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Alea does not access or store your friends’ personal information unless they choose to make a purchase through your Referral Link.

7. Program Changes

We may modify, pause, or end the Program at any time, with or without notice. Any unused credits will remain valid in your account unless the Program is terminated for misuse or fraud.

8. Limitation of Liability

Alea is not responsible for:

• Technical errors, delays, or issues with the Afflr platform;
• Lost or misdirected emails or credits; or
• Misuse of Referral Links by participants or third parties.

Participation in this Program is at your own risk. These Referral Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Québec, unless otherwise required by law.
